Solid Bible Teaching for Students

CCC Students is dedicated to training the next generation in the knowledge of God’s Word. We are pleased to offer Crossway’s excellent The Biggest Story curriculum for our children and youth. Written by Kevin DeYoung and illustrated by Don Clark, “The Biggest Story leads readers on an exciting journey through the Bible, from the garden of Eden to the return of Christ. This fun curriculum based on the book draws kids into Scripture and helps them grasp its overarching message of redemption.” (thebiggeststory.com)

All students gather in the Spurgeon Classroom to watch the story video. After the video, younger students stay in the Spurgeon Classroom while older students transition to the Owen Classroom. The classrooms do not have strict age requirements. Parents and teachers can discuss which room best suits their student’s needs. In compliance with childcare requirements, each classroom is staffed with two adult volunteers.

Spurgeon Classroom

Students in the Spurgeon Classroom are typically under 10 years old. CCC Students provides:

  • Engaging, interactive lessons tailored for younger kids
  • Weekly Bible memory verses
  • Lesson-based crafts and activities, including mazes, word searches, and coloring sheets
  • Playtime with fun games for children to make friends and enjoy one another!

Owen Classroom

Students in the Owen Classroom are typically 10 years or older. CCC Students provides:

  • Lessons in a higher-level lecture format, featuring more direct engagement with the Biblical text
  • Handouts for note-taking on the lesson’s “Big Truth,” “Gospel Connection,” and Memory Verse, organized in a Student Binder
  • Weekly emails for parents to review the previous study with their students and prepare for the upcoming lesson
  • A competitive trivia review game!
